Community Over Cars is a volunteer-run Northville nonprofit. Our mission: ensure Northville's public spaces are governed by democratically elected officials - not by courts interpreting an 1840 plat law.

A lawsuit - based on an 1840 plat law - has stripped Northville of its authority to manage its own downtown. The city is pursuing a permanent legislative fix. Help the city and Community Over Cars fundraise and reach this goal by April 1, 2026.
